The Dining Hall is the main course of University of Rio Grande’s food services.

After all, it’s the place to sit down with your friends to enjoy a main course. We feature a wide variety of fresh food designed to satisfy everyone’s palate with meals that rival those of your favorite restaurants.

Monday-Friday: 7:30am to 9:30pm

  • Traditional Hot Breakfast: 7:30am – 10:00am
  • Continental Breakfast: 10:00am – 10:45am
  • Hot Lunch: 10:45am – 1:30pm
  • Lite Lunch: 1:30pm – 5:00pm
  • Hot Dinner: 5:00pm – 7:30pm
  • Late Snack (M-F Only): 7:30pm – 9:30pm

Saturday & Sunday Brunch: 11:30am to 1:30pm

Saturday & Sunday Dinner: 5:00pm to 7:30pm

Accepted Forms of Payment

Open to all members of the Rio Grande University community and guests, the Main Dining Room accepts meal plan, cash, VISA, MasterCard, and Discover.

Meal Plans:

All Residents are required to be on the 19 Meal Plan.    These meals may only be used for the plan holder and are not transferable. Unused meals are not carried forward each week.

Guest Meals

The Main Dining Room isn’t just for students. Guest meals are also available to anyone visiting Rio Grande University for a nominal fee. After all, they are our guests!
